Description
Initially this was my entry into Zigbee for my smart home. I recently moved most of my Zigbee devices to the SkyConnect USB stick, however some Aqara devices offer additional features when connected to the Aqara Hub. This is a great starting point for Apple Home or even Home Assistant to get the Aqara Zigbee devices connected, though it ONLY works with Aqara devices.
Right now, I am using the M2 with two Aqara Door Locks and two Aqara FP2 motion sensors. You can connect the hub to Home Assistant using the HomeKit integration, or if you’ve updated it to use Matter, it can be connected via Matter to Home Assistant.
