If you just installed a new SSD in your computer like we did here, or if you just want to start with a clean slate and refresh your computer, you will need to create installation media for re-installing Windows 8.1 on your computer. Microsoft has released a tool to allow us to easily create new installation media and either save an ISO file or install to an empty USB Flash Drive for quick and easy installation. This guide will show you how to get started.

3. The MediaCreationTool.exe file will download.
