When attempting to change print drivers, you may be presented with the error: “Printer settings could not be saved. This operation is not supported”.
To resolve the issue, you must un-share the printer, then re-share.
- In the Printer Properties menu, choose the Sharing tab.
- Uncheck the Share this printer box
- Apply the changes at the bottom
- Change the print driver under the Advanced tab
- Check the Share this printer box on the Sharing tab.
